3CX Mobile App Account Deactivation/Activation

For both 3CX iOS and Android apps, you can deactivate your account when it's not in use, then activate again when you need it without having to scan the QR code again.


When it's deactivated on the mobile app, your extension will still work as normal where logged in e.g. your desk phone, or the Web Client - it's just a way to take your mobile app out of the loop temporarily.

iOS

 

Select the main menu (top left, 3CX logo):




Select Accounts:


Find the account you want to deactivate temporarily:


De-select it:


Return to the home screen of the 3CX app:


It may take a few seconds to fully apply the change. You can tell when it's changed because it will say 'Ready for calls' or 'No active profile' in the top-right section of the main keypad screen of your 3CX iOS app.

 

Android

It's slightly different in Android, but achieves the same thing.

Open the menu on the left-hand side, you get:

 

 

Tap your name at the top, you get:

 

 

Tap and hold your name in the middle, you get:

 

 

Then you can activate again by doing the same thing.
